Hi Nora,
I can't see a Jonathon Davidson, 93rd Regt in the casualty returns for either the Crimea or Indian Mutiny I'm afraid.

It's always possible he transferred regiments though I suppose.
Service records would be at Kew, and of course if you could find his papers all would be revealed!
