I posted a similar request a year or so ago. Unfortunately, a disk drive problem caused a loss of the hard data.
However, it is my understanding that our name (my father's surname was Crigger - mine is the result of a clerical error at birth)was derived from the German name Krieger (warrior).
My father was born near Marion, Virginia in November of 1924. Related bloodlines are:
Bonham
Testerment
My grandfather's name was Edward Stewart Crigger and he was from the same region, as far as I know.
