I find this so very fascinating! I too come from a very long line of Criggers/Creggers and have just started my search this year. I live in MD, but as it turns out my grandparentís home place was in the Marion/Wytheville areas. They did live in MD for a while but moved back to Marion. Most of the children, my aunts, uncles and cousins still live here in MD but there are a few left in that area that have not past on. I did not grow up knowing this side of my family but have come to realize they all spell their last names different! I was just given my dads birth certificate and it is spelled Creggar! All his life he spelled it Cregger. He has past but I figure he did not even know probably. My Grandparents names were Miller James Crigger and Charlotte Elizabeth Willis. I hear tell one of them came from the Fultcher clan maybe? Looking forward to hearing from someone soon!
