My father was Robert Criger and was born and raised and died in Le Roy, NY, 1906-1974. His father was Archibald Criger from Le Roy,NY and my grgrandfather was Charles Criger and his father was Benjamine Criger. I have just learned that Charles may have been born in Avon NY resided in Canada at one time and that he had brothers who lived in Michigan.. The woman who's grgrandfather was from MI said her grandfather said that they came from PA a german settlement and the name was originally spelled with a K. Hope any of this will help. If any connection please let me know. Thanks, Mary Ellen Davis. MY fathers brother was Paul and he lived in CA and had a son James who would be about 64. We haven't heard from him in years and have been looking for him. He had a daughter and my dad had all girls, so the Criger name is going out.
