Dear Olga

Thank you for your reply. I do not have a John Frank CRIDLAND on my database, but I do have a Frank CRIDLAND (1920-) whose father was Frank John CRIDLAND (1899-1971) and whose grandfather was another Frank Cole CRIDLAND (1875-1953) - all of whom were born in the Swansea area! However, I do not have any record of a CRIDLAND-THOMPSON marriage at the right time (mid-1940's). You mention that your husband has more brothers and sisters - would these be Carol J. (1946-), Sharron M. (1950-), Anthony Jack (1954-2002) and Clifford G. (1957-) CRIDLAND, all of whom were also born in the Swansea area. I think it best if we carry on this exchange of information via e-mail in order to avoid clogging up Genforum with our correspondence - my e-mail address is geoff@wellington98.freeserve.co.uk. Incidentally, I live in Somerset, England and my maternal grandmother was a CRIDLAND.

Regards

Geoff
