Dear Olga & Frank

The name CRIDLAND originates in Somerset, England, an area that the Vikings did not colonise - all evidence points to an Anglo-Saxon origin for the name. There are CRIDLANDs in Denmark, but they have English ancestors. Frank and you are on my CRIDLAND One-Name Study database and I believe that Frank has a brother, Arthur John (born 1941 in Chepstow). However, I am not sure of the name of Frank's father although his mother's maiden name was THOMPSON. If you can let me know some details of Frank's parents I should be able to connect you to one of the branches of the CRIDLAND family tree and then send you a printout. Hoping to hear from you soon.

Regards

Geoffrey J. Heal
