Hello, to all Cridland! Do you know if Cridland name has Viking origine ?

My husband, Frank - Cole Cridland (born in 29 July 1947, in Chepstow, Wales, UK) is living in Swansea, UK.
I am his wife, I am Romanian and once, we metin Bucharest somebody from Norway, who told us that our name has Viking origines.
My husband believes the same (making also connections between celts and vikings).
On another hand, I bought a document in Ireland, about the genealogy of family Cridland and it seems that the first information are coming from England!
Does sombody know more about this ??

We both live in both countries: sometimes in Romania, sometimes in Wales, UK.
In Romania, we are involved with a charity for children with cancer ( www.asociatiapavel.home.ro )
