Hi there - good to see other potential cousins out there! My 5xgreat grandmother was Mary Cridland, who married John Bindon in Old Cleeve in May 1746. I have been told that she was probably baptised either in 1722 to Lawrence Cridland, or 1724 to Robert. Robert and Lawrence were brothers, sons of Lawrence Cridland senior.
I haven't had a chance to look at the Cridlands in detail, but hope to get hold of copies of Old Cleeve parish registers soon. I also know of 2 other Bindon=Cridland marriages in the Old Cleeve area. Feel free to contact me direct at dave@bindonclan.fsnet.co.uk
