Wondering if anyone has information on Ellen Cridland (went by the name Nellie) born Taunton Saint James in the county of Somerset England 2 Dec 1884.Not sure if her name actually is Ellen but that's the name on the birth certificate. She was my great grandmother and always went by the name Nellie. She is the Daughter of James Cridland and Sarah Cridland formerly (Ferris?).She married John Dyer 23 Dec 1906 in the Parish of Taunton Saint James in the county of Somerset England. They had a child Lawrence Dyer in January of 1908. John Dyer immigrated to British Columbia Canada in 1909 and Nellie and Lawrence immigrated to Canada the following year in 1910. Any information you have on Nellie (Ellen) and her parents would be greatly appreciated. I know Nellie's marriage certificate says her father was a cabinet maker.
Cheers Gerald Dyer :-)
