Hi Yvonne

I have the Rivington/Cridland marriage on my database, but since I didn't know Amy Cridland's year of birth I was unable to identify her with certainty. However, even now knowing that she was born c.1861 has not helped me to solve the problem. Since Reginald Rivington and Amy Cridland were both in their 50's at the time they were married I suspect that it was the second marriage for Amy and that Cridland was not her maiden name. Do you have access to their marriage certificate? - hopefully this would tell us her actual maiden name and therefore narrow down the search.
