Laura born in 1868 in Kensington, was one of 6 daughters,the others being Emma, Ellen, Florence, Annie and Ada, of Emma Caroline and John Cridland, the latter born 1811 in Welvester (?) Somerset according to the transcription of the 1871 census. She was married in 1888 to Francis Moss Stafford, brother of one of my mother's grandfathers, and they lived in Penge, South London in 1891 and 1901 with two children, Doris and Arthur. Arthur was killed in WW1 but was married. Does anybody know anything more about John or about Laura's or her sisters' descendants ?
