Hallo,
My name ist Maria ann I am von Switzerland, but live in Amerika for maybe 5 years. I and my family back home are looking for family sat moved here many years ago. I can zell you this my pappa was a Kreider, and my great Opa was a Greiter. I was born in 1938 im Bern. My family moved zu Unterlingen when I was a small child. I belong zu a man named Gustav Greiter born abt 1700 and all we know was his vater born sometime in around 1680 was a Gritor von Alsace. I may be confusing you and you may not know any of zis information. I have been told sat a member of our family left for Amerika somewhere in ze 1700 s. his name was Jakub und he had some people zat came with him. a nephew named Gustav and another named Jorg which can be translated zu George, I suppose. We are trying zu find our family and I have been contacting a lot of people and so far no one can tell me anyzing. Maybe zis is what you call another dead end. My English is not ze best but better zan most people zat come over. I hope you do not sink I am crazy.
