Bill,
If I'm not mistaken this Jacob was born appx. 1775, married Sarah Frank in 1796. Sarah was born in 1780. They had two sons, Jacob born Dec 16,1797 in N.C. and John born June 16 1799. Please let me know if I'm not right or if you have anymore info on this family. Jacob's brother David is extended family. My gggrandaddy John L. Crider married David's daughter Sophia B. Crider in 1835, but she died in 1863 in Calhoun County, Al. and that same year he married Martha Traylor Lewis, young widow of Joseph Lewis who died in Civil War. So my family actually comes from John L. and Martha. I know that two Crider's marrying may sound strange, but I have David's will and it list John L. Crider as his son-in-law and him being married to Sophie. If you would like to e-mail me you can at: JoCriderGreen@yahoo.com or call me at 256-892-3765. If you want me to call you ,just send me an e-mail.

Thanks,Jo Green
