I've found more information regarding Alexander Crichton and Janet Robertson. Their son Alexander (1874-1951) Inchture Perth married Margaret Brown (1875-1940) 1896 in Dundee and had a daughter Isabella Crichton (1901-1955) Lochee, Dundee.
She married Joseph McDade Black in 1922. There were 3 children Joseph Black (1923-1994), Margaret Black (1917-1960) and John Black (1930-1988) all born in Dundee. If anyone has any information or connection please e-mail me.
