Another John Crews of Bedford Co. Have you fit in the one who married Clary Merritt and was found in Burke Co, Ga as a pioneer in 1805? I know it was the same, as they also named Clary Merritt. Clary Merritt Crews showed up in LaRue Co, Ky in 1840's where she bought a small plot of land. She was located near Prosser Cruse, My ancestor, and her papers were witnessed by Prosser and Willis Cruse. I also do not know what happened to Willis after that. Clary died in 1856 in LaRue Co, Ky. No gravestone found. What happened to John? Did he die in Ga?
