I have a Redman Crews (1765-1834) in my records. He seems a bit old to have been father of your Barbara. I traded info with Elaine Rowland a descendant of Redman - see message #629. According to her Redman came to Green County, KY. This Crews line is related to my line but very distantly. It would have been quite a coincidence if two independant branches of the family both ended up in the Howard/Boone county, MO area by 1840. Interested to see how this shalpes up.
