Looking for James CREWS, b ?IL/d c1855 ?IL. James CREWS m. Esther
Jane VANDEVEER (VANDIVER) abt 1850. They had one son, George
Washington CREWS b 17 Feb 1852 Fairfield, Wayne Co., IL, d 26 July
1845 Ashland, OR.

Esther Jane VANDEVEER (VANDIVER) had 2 other marriages, possibly to
a PRICE and to a WINCHESTER.

Any leads on the above would be greatly appreciated. George W. CREWS
is my gr-grandfather who left home at a young age --- possibly lived
with relatives for awhile before coming West.
