Sharon, thank you so much for the information about Susan Crews' parents. I had suspected the same since Susan and her husband William T. Adkisson named a son William Jonas Adkisson. William Jonas Adkisson is my great grandfather. With the name of Jonas, I suspected that Susan's brother was probably Jonas Arthur Crews. I did also find "Descendants of Arthur Crews/Crues" prepared by a Randall B. Hughes that appeared on Family Tree Maker's Genealogy Site. In that report, he also indicated that Susan Crews was the daughter of Arthur Simeon Crews and Lavicia Hicks. At least I know I am on the right track with my research and can continue from here. Thank you so much "cousin."
