According to "Thomas Bell: Ulster Scot To South Carolina and Allied Families" compiled by Rufie Lee Williams 1984, the ancestors of Sarah GOOCH were as follows:

Matthew GOOCH b. Lincolnshire, Norfolk, Eng
I. Henry GOOCH and Millicent GOODWIN, m. 1656
II. Wm. GOOCH b. c1662 m. Ursula CLAIBORNE
III. Claiborne GOOCH b. c1685 living 1748, m.
a Miss THOMPSON
IV. Wm. GOOCH b. c1710-12, m. Elizabeth____
V. Sarah GOOCH b. 1743 m. David CREWS 1764
and removed to NC by 1777.

Ancestors of David CREWS were:
I. John CREW b. c1669 m. Sarah GATLEY c1689
d/o Nicholas and Sarah GATLEY
II. Wm. CREW m. Hannah SANDERS d/o John SANDERS Jr., Hanover Co, Va
III. David CREW(S)

We had Sarah listed as d/o Rowland but changed it re this book. It's full of refs and sources and goodies!
