Where does the name "Samuel" come from? I have only seen this mentioned (and repeated) on the internet.
Alexander Lafayette Price Williams ("The Tennessee Civil War Veterans Questionnaires", page 2193 of the 4-Volume set), Isaac's grandson, states that his grandfather's name was Isaac Seat Crews. In the Tennessee Archives it is in his own (Lafayette's) handwriting.
