I have Robert Cruze married to Patsy Palmer on Sept 20, 1849, almost certainly in Knox County, TN. Their son William A.B. Cruze (1857--1908) married my gr grandfather's sister Salenia Brakebill on Dec 15, 1872. Thay would make him only 15 years old at marriage, so I may have his birth date wrong. I have Robert's parents as William Cruze (ca 1785--ca 1875) and Lucy Childress (?? -ca 1925). If this sounds promising, I can furnish more Cruze/Crews data.
