I am looking for information on Isaac Cruise/Cruse/Crews and his twin brother Jacob. They were born 1830 in Ky. Both brothers were living with the John King family in TN, maybe Bedford Co.
They came to TX before 1850 Census was taken.
They were listed as being farm hands living in the household of Perlina King, widow of John King. By 1860 Isaac is no longer in Rusk Co., TX. Jacob is married to Paulina Landers King and living in Rusk, Co.
Jacob list his parents as both being born in Ky. Could their mother have been Allison Crews living in Bedford Co. TN in 1840? She had two sons about the correct age to be the twins.
