Sharon.. There is a book titled "Crews, My Kinsfolk' written by Laura Crews and published in 1941. This is a story and geneology of the Crews, Simpson, Wilber and Waddell families. I found this still available at Barnes-Noble for $34.00. I know a copy of this book is in the Oklahoma Historical Society in Oklahoma city. In past, I have searched web for Laura and found quite a history after this book printed.. Laura went on to Hollywood and became involved in 'motion pictures'. Hope you can find one and enjoy.
Some of her family lives in Lincoln County, Ok..
Not my line....but interesting.
