Shirley check out Crews messages 876 and 1125. In my attempt to track down the parents of my Thomas Crews, Sr. (b ca 1760) I ended up in Amherst Co., VA. There I found message 876 which mentions a Joseph Crews in Amherst who had a son Anderson and Thomas. I haven't decided if this was my Thomas but it certainly looks like it might be your Anderson. Right now I am attempting to straighten out the mess of the Amherst, Bedford, Henry county VA Crews families. Let me know what you think!
