I am searching for my husband's grandmothers roots. It has been told that she related stories of her family coming to Florida in a covered wagon from Georgia. This probably would have been about 1880 or so. They traveled to the southern part of Florida and then her family moved back to the north central part in Gilchrist/Bradford/Union Counties areas.

Mary Rephilar Crews married a Joseph Coucil Spears and they had several children in Gilchrist County. Anyone with knowledge of the Crews who traveled further south and then came back here to no. cent. Fla. please contact me. Can not find any records of these people.
