John Crew b 1726 Andrew Quaker Va Revolutionary War

Does anyone know anything about John Crew who was in the Revolutionary War in Virginia? According to books, he was born 1726 to Andrew Crew and Hannah Ellyson in Charles City, Va. He was disowned by the Quakers and in the Revolutionary War. To establish this information a will or other documentation would be helpful. If anyone has anything, I would appreciate their help.
