I have some old army papers of a great grandfather...John Crew...he was in the llth b regiment of foot..joined the army at eighteen .Served 21 yr. got out 1861.He was married to Margaret Normile,from Limerick Ireland.For some reason the last name with his son encluded an e on the end.But the army papers show no e just Crew.He had a son Charlie Crewe...That was spelled with the e on the end..born in Whitchurch England. Charlie Crewe was born..we know England but not where.Charlie married Maude Woodvine.I would like to find out if John Crew had anymore children...when he died,and same for his wife,Margaret?Also where Charlie Crewe was born in england?Anyone with information would be apppreciated...Charlie crewe his children were,Gwendoline,(patrica,and william(harry)twins...and Leslie.Gwendoline and Leslie were born in Wrexham Wales.
