Sending along some updated info, Abraham(1794-98) is the son of Nathanial,Jr Crissey & Waitstill Holly of New Canaan, CT. This Abraham(1798) married Ellis Abigail Betts in 1817.

There also was a Abraham & Jane(Tallmadge)Crissey who was in the "Canaan Parish" which was the Congregational Church of New Canaan, CT & # 588 & #601 in 1822 July 7. was removed Nov. 21 1824 to the 2nd Presbyterian Church in Genoa, NY.
Also, in that church was Jesse Crissey, & wife Bethia, Hiram Crissey & wife Polly & Sally Crissey,(wife of Sylvanus Crissey).
I just found that Hiram & Polly Crissey were the parents of Mary E. Crissey whom married in 1858 Nathanial Wheeler of Wheeler & Wilson sewing machine fame & lived in the Harral-Wheeler Mansion in Bridgeport, CT. I have a picture of her & the mansion, Does anyone out there know or have these people in there lines, I have info to share!!! Leave message here or email me at ppyoung@chibardun.net
Sincerely, Patricia(Crissey)Young
