Sharon, I'm pretty sure. There is some doubt as to the exact date of birth. However, Susanna Turner's grave marker in Emmanuel Lutheran Church cemetery, Muncy Creek Twp, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, gives her age as 84 years, 5 months, and 14 days. She died on 24 April 1867. The tombstone is weathered a lot and a recently published cemetery listing has 81 years instead of 84 years. If she was 81 years old she would have been born in 1785. However, the site on ancestry.com lists her birth as 15 January 1787, and her father as John Jacob Cressman (1755-1832). John Jacob Cressman's ancestry goes back to one Hans Crossman, born about 1551 in Pfungstadt, Hesse-Darmstadt. The data I have available does not allow to resolve all the discrepancies. Do you have any more data on Susanna Cressman, or know of any records of the Cressman family that could help? Thanks.
