I'm sitting here with a picture from 1935 of an Evelyn Cressman. She was a pen friend to my mother law, Helga Andersen, in the thirties. At that time Helga lived in Rurup, close to the town Toftlund (and Vojens), in the southern part of Jutland, Denmark.
My mother in law is almost 75 years old, but she is suffering of Alzheimers disease, so she is living on a residence home for elderly people in Vojens. But she can still remember many things from her younger days.
A date is written on back of the picture: 1?-4-27 (the 1? could be 10th or 16th). I guess that it must be Evelyn's birthdate. I was wondering if Evelyn still is alive. And if, then it could be very interesting to try to reetablish the contact between Evelyn and Helga.
If any of you knows about Evelyn, then please contact me. I don't know which US State she lived in.
