Carolyn,
Catherine married David Mellinger on Dec. 16, 1760 at Tohickon Un. Ch. Bedminster Twp., Bucks County, PA. This marriage is also recorded in the Trinity Union Church records in Springfield Twp., Bucks Co., PA. As these two churches were near to each other, it's possible the same minister served both churches. I have also seen the date of 12 Dec., but use the 16th as this is what is recorded in several collections of church records.
Catherine's parents were Johannes (John) Cressman (Crisman) and Anna Catherine Heilman. He was my husband's 6th great-grandfather.
Catherine and David had the following children: William, Catherine, Susanna, Abraham, and Maria (Mary). I only have information on Maria's line which someone else was kind enough to share with me.
This line has been pretty elusive. If you could help, let me know. Also, contact me if you wish Maria's info.
