Hello Pat,You probably already know this But Way Back in Earlier Times,It Was.and STILL is Very Hard too Differntiate The WOMEN that are Born and That is Why the Parents always named their Female Offsprings MIDDLE Names after Their Mothers GIVEN Surname......Others may Ask why but a Child after she grows up takes The Mans Name........I LOVED The OLD way,You might escape your Surname But NOT YOUR Middle Name..............Mother Remarries .Name Changes but not The Middle,back Then...... and That's a Shame..Richard
