Delighted to find a descendent of James Cremer and his wife Francis Langley. I have a large file on the family, (even bigger on the Langleys) but unfortunately it does not help establish for certain who William Cremer is. I have logically worked out who his father is, where he was born and a couple of his siblings, but unfortunately the parish records needed to verify it (or otherwise) were either never kept or are missing or destroyed. The village in question is Dunton-cum-Doughton a hamlet with little more than the church these days. Would be delighted to know how you fit into the family tree.
