I am the granddaughter of Robert Henry Crego who hales from Fenton, Michigan. I am just starting on working on the family tree. My grandfather only had two living siblings. A sister named Ruth and a brother named Alva. My Uncle Alva lived in Fenton, Michigan all his life on a lake. I remember going there as a child. His wife's name was Marion. My grandfather was a retired fireman from Detroit. That is all I know but I understand from my father and grandfather that all Crego's in the United States originally haled from New York. William Crego in the 1700's was the first veteran of the wars to receive a pension for military service.
