Who did Lucy Creek REALLY marry?

I'm trying to straighten out the marriage record of Lucy Ann Creek, daughter of Jacob Howdershalt Creek and Virginia Lee Younger.

Lucy Ann is listed in the Creek Family Bible as being born 15 Jan 1834.

Leucy A. Creek also marries J. O. Reynerson 24 Jun 1855.

I believe this is actually John D., not "O".

Trees all over the internet (and elsewhere) state this same lady married an unknown Miller as a first husband, John Ward Wade as a third husband in 1877 and then a James Cantwell in 1888.

I have found Lucy A. with her husband John D. Reynerson in KS on the 1870 and 1880 U.S. Federal census with their children...although the censustaker mistakenly called two of the sons "daughters" on the 1880 census.

J. D. Reynerson was alive and well in 1880. It is possible he might have died after that and Lucy DID marry James Cantwell in 1888. However, the lack of 1890 census records makes this difficult to trace.

I could not find a James Cantwell in the areas of KS or MO during other censuses.

I suspect there was another Lucy Creek who married J. W. Wade in MO. Maybe she was a widow Lucy Creek.

Does anybody know anything to substantiate any of these marriages?
