Yes - There was a son born to Isaac & Sarah Gorin Creek
in 1826 - he's listed as Davis on Family Trees of Killion
Creek through son Isaac. Have not been able to prove that
Davis is DAVID however, except that Sarah age 19 in 1860
is living with David and wife Mary ; and Isaac & wife Rebecca [of my search] are living next door.
Sarah is daughter of [2nd] marriage - Nancy HODDY &
Isaac Creek. David is from [1st] marriage Sarah GORIN if
he's in fact Davis. Although, son of Isaac & Sarah named
Gladin Creek b. 1805 is on 1830 census with a wife and male
child b. 1825/1830 which would line up with David's birthdate. Gladin cannot be found on later census records.
In 1850 Isaac Creek & Nancy are listed in Wayne County
ILL. listing a daughter named Sarah age 09.[H/H755] David
Creek age 24 & Sarah 18 [H/H757]This appears to be a 1st
marriage with son Gladen Creek b. 1853 - per 1860 census.
David married Mary Polly Ann Walston June 06, 1858. This
is not proven as no one in family has verified yet, my conclusions.
I have no record of Isaac having a son named Isaac b.
1837,which would have been his second marriage. Do you
know that for a certainty? What connects him to Isaac &
Nancy Hoddy? All known sources list three children for
them: Ola Philadelphia b. 1833; Tysul Israel b. 1838; Sarah Creek b. 1841.
