Please note the following which we are very sure is our Killian:
The will of Henry WEITZEL of Lancaster County, PA is the source for the marriage of Killion Creek and Margaret WEITZEL. (Source: "Abstracts of Wills of Lancaster Co. PA 1732-1785" with an introduction by Edward Wright, pg 245. Feb 9, 1776, probated May 1, 1776 - Will of Henry Weitzel. Children: Martin, John, Elias, Margaret wife of Killian Kreeg, and Magdalena. Execs were Casper Snevely, John Ressly. They were of Lebanon Township.)
Assumptions are not good genealogy, however, if Margaret, wife of Killian Kreeg, was daughter of Henry Weitzel, they were more likely both born in Lancaster County, PA. If this is the same Killian Creek we know their marriage was probably in that area as well. Until someone shows me a document that 'prooves' that they were born and married somewhere else, I will consider Lancaster PA. as their starting place.
