I'm curious about Margaret Holloway. Materials sometimes say she was born in Germany. Ho(a)lloway is not a German name. Now I might suspect Creek is from the German Krieg. Would Holloway be something like Hallweg? I've checked Holloway families in Virginia and find no trace of Margaret.
