Was wondering two things:
Anyone seen reference to parents of Nancy Fields being John Chi Waklaugassa Fields (Cherokee) and Elizabeth Wells?
Also, has anyone seen reference that Nancy might be the daughter of Isaac Newton Fields and Alcy Day. In the 1830 census of Harlan County, Isaac and Alcy have one daughter (Nancy was born in 1827). In 1840, they have one daughter 10-15, 3 5-10, and 1 U5. In 1850, the oldest daughter named is 19 which would put her after 1830. Also, in 1840, the Fields are living about four houses down from Mortimer Creech.
