Did Mariah Pennington have Indian blood in her. Mariah was married to Isaac Creech b. 1800 in VA.
Someone had called the Editor of Creech Country and said she had to prove that Mariah was part Cherokee, and several people in the family had Cherokee in them. Did anyone ever find out if this was true.
I have been trying to prove this for my husband family. My Mother-in-law said there was Indian blood in the family, she was not sure if it was direct or married into the Creech line. Her Sister had told her son the same information. Him and I, are trying to prove it.
If anyone has information on this fact, would they write to me, or give me a clue were to look.
