I may be wrong on the name.I am working from the book Nacogdoches County Families.According to an article written by my father's (Loyd King) sister (Dorthy Jacobs) C.J. Crecelius was married to Drusilla.According to the article C.J. and Drusilla were my father's great great grandparents. The article states that "C.J. and Drusilla Cercelius are buried in Mississippi, where he was a Baptist minister for thrity years."It is quite possible that there was a mistake in the article.
I am looking for information on the family before C.J. or Jessie Gaines.
My grandmoter (Minnie Zeolla Crecelius) was the daughter of Loyd Dee and Nancy Caroline Adams Crecelius. Her paternal granparents were Albert J. and Mary Elvira Saxon Crecelius.
Does any of this sound like the family of Jessie Gaines Crecelius?
