Dear Kathryn..Morehead...
Just last night I discovered ANDREW J CREASON...AND ROXEY A. PETTY...AS BEING MARRIED IN PIKE COUNTY, ILLINOIS ON APRIL 26,1859...this was at 1:30 a.m.what a surprise...if this is who you mean.
On the same print-out I have James, Creason and Rebecca,Park..married 08-25-1859 in Massac County, Illinois...(Metropolis,Ill)
Charles L. Creason..(my grandfather) and Jennie Harris..Creason..married on 10/12/1898
I am trying to figure out who my great-grandfather was..Andrew J...or Albert daily or ALBON DAILY...(THIS IS WHERE i NEED THE MOST HELP)
Fillmore and Andrew J lived up near Raytown,Missouri in Ray Co. Andrew was in some kind of trouble with the relatives and moved over to the next county. He was not allowed to vote and was called a traitor..
Jokingly..but..true...I probably sooner or later will know the truth and probably be decended from the only "bad apple" in the basket. Ha ha..but I don't care I need to know.
Now Katherine I believe that I have read somewhere that Cal Phillips and his living wife Helen...are related toFillmore D. Creason....in fact I think Helen is a grandaughter or great grandaughter of Filmore, Creason. You could write to them and ask...worth the chance and they are both wonderful people I have come to feel close to.Cal operatesthe CREASON..DIGEST..and is taking a roll call now, but, I cannot remember the address as I write this so will check and write after this goes through.
Katheryn, When I found my then living Uncle Buster Creason (William J. Creason) he mentioned a Milo Creason...Mary Alice...and Martha Ellen...but itwas in the early 80's and I simply cannot remember correctly all the verbal history on that day.He lived and died in Myrtle Creek,Oregon...and a cousin Charles Creason lived near by. Another relative in Idaho..son of the older Charles and several cousins.
My Uncle Buster (william James) had a half-brother named Miles Creason who died in 1997 in Mayfield, Kentucky and is buried there with my Grandfather Charlie L. and Jennie Harris Creason...(my newly found grandmother)...Charlie was first married to my Grandmother Jennie Creason and had3 boys and one girl.Ruth (Mae i think) Creason..
William James Creason (Buster) my dad Le Roy Shelby Creason Nov 1, 1909 and Norman Wilson Creason..who died fairly recently in L.A.
Yesterday I found that my Grandmother was only 40 when she died in 1920...Charlie L remarried a lady Named LINNIE...CREASON.. and adopted her daughter Linnie...they are both buried out in Palm Springs area California.Linnie died in 1966...just before my daughter Lisa Marie died of Leukemia.
I do hope that this is not too confusing as I am trying to help you and also trying to keep my line in place while seeking info on these many others.
Did I help...I hope so.
One other thing..Katheryn...I just glanced down and see that a Bettie E Creason..married a Van B Reed...Massac County, Ill. 11/12/1897so this could be the missing Elizabeth I run into now and then on some of the inquiries, or maybe even related to me...
I am so sleepy now..hope I was able to offer something concrete of benefit.
Marilyn Marie Creason..
