I too am interested in learning more about my Creasman's. My gggrandmother, Mirah Creasman, married G.W. Hughes (Falls) in Fannin County Georgia on August 24, 1854. According to family history she went back to North Carolina, Maggie Valley area, to visit her family when she became ill and died and was burried there. I do not have any information about who were her parents or any siblings. There was a family of Creasman's living in the north Georgia area listed in the 1850 and 1860 census.
Gilmer County 1850: John age 73, Mourning age 60, Reensa age 30, Goldman age 24, John age 24, Adaline age 19, and Amanuel age 5. Then in 1860 Fannin County: John creasman age 80, Mourining age 70, Goldman, age 25, Lourena age 40, and Amanuel age 12. I do not know if there is any connection between this family and Mirah my gggrandmother.
Would like to learn more about my gggrandmother and her family.
