There have been a couple of books written about Black Mountain. One by Joyce Parris and one by Joan and Robert Goodman. Joyce's book does mention "Shorty" Creasmans barber shop but not much else about Creasmans. There is some debate as to the ancestry of John Creasman. Some say he was the son of Abraham Creasman, 1782-1870. Abraham may have been the son of Adam, 1754-c. 1810. There is quite a bit of information on various sites of the internet you just have to dig around for it. I haven't spent a lot of time on the Creasman side but am interested in completing the puzzle.
