Re: Looking for lost Crean relatives
I don't know whether the following information is of any interest to you, but thought I would let you know anyway. My mother-in-law's maiden name was Crean, she was born in a small village by the sea just outside Tralee. Her father was Patrick and he used to work on the railway before marrying his wife (mother-in-laws)mother her maiden name was Russel, not sure what her name was, but could find out.

Mum in law told me that her father's siblings all emigrated to America, but not sure where. She was one of four children, she had two sisters Katherine and Mary and a younger brother John who emigrated to Australia. My mum in law is the only surviving child and is now aged 85.

If this is any help to you then let me know and I will try to find out more info.

Kind regards

Susan Shanahan
