Kelly I checked my data base on Crean's but found only a Margaret O’Hara married to a Crean in Chicago in the 1900's. In the 1870 census my gggrandfather surname was Crane then Cran and finally Crean there after. Did you try your state achieves? They would have B.D.M. of all variations from 1845-1915 or you could check your nearest National Achieves they use the soundex system which will list all variations of Crean on one film or more depending what census you look up. Hope this helps. Len Crean
