Have you come across other spellings of Crean such as Crein, Craen and Crane?

My 4th ggrandparents came from Ireland to Philadelphia in 1872. Margaret O'hara married John Crein in 1874. In 1880 census, the name changed to Craen. In 1910 census, the name changed to Crane.

Margaret and John had nine children. The only one I could locate was William J b: 1875 (my 3rd ggrandfather). I was wondering if they spelled their last name differently and that's why I cannot locate the others.

Any help is appreciated!

Kelly Crane Frich
