I am looking for Rufus J. Creen born 1880 not sure where. We have heard Ireland (father Rufus Sr. came during the famine years, also Berlin Germany and also born in NY). We are wondering whether he changed the spelling of his name so are checking all sources. Some lived in the city of New York others moved up state. There is a relative Billy Creen that lives in upper state. He was a bit older than my father in pictures I have. We think he must be a cousin of my Dad or an uncle.
He married Charlotte "Lottie" Kerner around 1900. They had a daughter Isabelle, my grandmother who died young. She married an O'Donnell.

Isabells siblings were Joseph Creen, Jessica Creen, and Rufus Joseph Creen. We are not sure if Billy is Joseph's or Rufus' son.

Any info on Rufus Creen would be appreciated. He was not well liked and Charlotte divorced him before 1923. Thank you! kmgrone@hotmail.com
