Because of your reference to Sheperston, VA I wonder if your Creamers and mine connect somewhere along the line. I descend from Joseph Darke CREAMER b. 1809 in Harpers Ferry, VA (now WV). He married Mary Elnor BUCK who was b. 1817 in Shepherdstown, VA. These two towns are in Jefferson Co, WV now--but Jefferson Co. was formed from Berkeley Co.

My Creamers went from WV to Clark Co, OH sometime before 1839 and lived in Clark, Champaign and Greene Counties. At least one of them then came to Indiana.
