We are looking for any descendents of William & Anna Creamer that might be missing from our genealogy. Anna Portis Thomson, daughter of Gavin & Jean/Jane Thomson was born in Canada, came to IA with her parents and married William Wallace Creamer there. They are both buried in Pottawattamie Co., IA. If you are one of their descendents please check and see that we have your family in our genealogy program. And if you have any informatin about Gavin & Jean Thomson please let us know. Also please join us in June 2006 for a Thomson Clan Reunion: Thomson Clan Reunion All descendents of Gavin and Jean/Jane Thomson are invited to a first ever reunion. Purpose: to get to know other family members we’ve never met, to renew family ties, and perhaps learn a little more of the family history. Gavin & Jean were born, married, and started their family in Scotland. They then came to Canada and on down to Mills County Iowa where they are buried. You may have their last name spelled Thomson or Thompson Date of reunion: June 17, 2006 Location: East Liberty Church, Mills County, IA, across the road from the East Liberty Cemetery where they are buried. Directions: Go north of Malvern and Hwy 34 on 315th St. then west on Hutchings Ave. (This is a country church in Silver Creek Township). Time: 9:00am till ?? Cost: $15.00/person (children under 5 are free). Cost includes noon meal, rental of church, and miscellaneous costs.
